I played the demo until the end and found the game to be pretty solid overall. Here are the points I liked and disliked:
Pros:
* Gameplay is smooth and easy to pick up;
* The music is quite good;
* Environmental interaction is a nice touch (like triggering a car alarm by shooting it) — reminded me a bit of Darkwood;
* Both melee and ranged combat feel satisfying;
* Small details, like crashing a car into a tree and seeing its appearance change, add a lot to immersion;
* Graphics are pretty good (even the protagonist's chest moves while breathing, which is a nice detail);
Cons:
* While the music is good, sometimes it feels a bit off or doesn’t match the situation;
* Stealth felt a bit too easy;
* Melee combat is good, but the baseball bat seems to have more range than it actually does in practice. Also, melee weapon durability feels a bit low.
That’s about it for the demo. I didn’t explore everything, but the game is shaping up really well. Just needs some polish and maybe a few adjustments. Looking foward for the game!
Thanks a lot. Could you please rate the game?
Yes! I would rate a 8/10
